Cheddar Pecan Spread

1 cup shredded marble cheddar
1 TBS finely chopped onion
1/2 cup mayo
1/4 cup chopped pecans
2 strips crumbled cooked bacon

Blend all and chill in covered container. Serve with crackers.

(Did you know you can cook bacon in the microwave? That's what I do if I only need a couple slices, like in this recipe. Just put a layer of paper towel on a paper plate. Then lay out the bacon. Then cover with another layer of paper towel. Cook on high for about 1 minute per slice.)
