Beef and Mushrooms

Another easy crock pot recipe.

2 lbs. stewing beef cubed
one can cream of mushroom soup
4 oz. can mushrooms (I use a larger glass jar of mushrooms instead)
1 envelope onion soup mix
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
half a soup can of water

Sprinkle bottom of crock pot with 1/4 of the dry soup mix. Layer in meat, mushroom soup, mushrooms, remaining dry soup mix, water. Cover and cook on low 8 hours or high 4 hours. Serve over rice.
